Ben is a National Honor Society Board member and a member of the Interact Club. He is also on the basketball and the baseball teams. In 2006, Ben attended the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. He also volunteers through the Student Healthcare Connection as well as at the Human Society and a local soup kitchen. He won the Silver Medalist Award in Social Studies and Mathematics his junior year.
