Web Communications

The University's main Web Communications team is part of the University Publications office. Web Communications works with Publications and the Office of Media Relations to maintain the University's home page. Additionally, Web Communications oversees other top-tier pages within the University's Web portal.

Web Communications also maintains the Office of the President Web site and supports his e-communications.

• Family Fund and Young Alumni Leaving a Legacy (Y'ALL) sites for University Development
• SeniorSMART Center of Economic Excellence site
• "Great" marketing/advertisement campaign pages: Momentum, Minds, Discovery, Recruits
• Specialty pages for promotional videos featured during national TV sports telecasts: Bring Out Your Best | I Wanna Be

Web Communications also supports the University's Web Presence, the overall look and feel of the many sites and pages that make up the University's overall Web site.

In early 2009, Web Communications will introduce an update to the University's home and other main pages, featuring enhanced content. Examples of two new pages are below.

Web Communications is also planning the first steps for the major project of updating and redesigning the University's current Web Presence, which was implemented from 2002-2004.

The Web team will work with Web personnel from the Columbia campus and the other statewide campuses that make up the University system.
