Merck-Medco Becomes Medco Health

Merck-Medco, which manages the prescription benefit for the State Health Plan, has changed its name to Medco Health.

Your prescription benefit coverage will not change as a result of the name change, and you can still order your prescriptions online at their new website address, www.medcohealth.com. (The former web address http://www.merckmedco.com will continue to work for the next few months.) There is no need to re-register.

Please note that it may take several months for Medco Health to complete its name change transition, so you may receive some materials that still include the Merck-Medco name. If you have a current health insurance ID card, it is still valid. You do not need a new ID card.

Again, Merck-Medco is now Medco Health. Same company, same commitment, just a new name.
