Hrishikesh Chakraborty
Director, Biostatistics Collaborative Research Core (BCRC)
Dr. Chakraborty is a faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. His statistical methodological expertise includes mathematical modeling, longitudinal data analysis, mixed models, clinical trials, cluster trials, categorical data analysis, and simulation studies. Dr. Chakraborty's research interests include the development and application of statistical methods for problems in the areas of clinical trials, cluster randomized studies, and stochastic models. His areas of expertise include infectious diseases, especially HIV/AIDS, and maternal and child health research. Dr. Chakraborty has served in key data coordinating center roles as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, task leader, and senior statistician for large multicenter clinical and social studies.

Genevieve Lyons
Genevieve Lyons earned her MSPH in Biostatistics in 2012 from the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. She has several years of lab experience in biomedical research, and she has been a graduate teaching assistant for three different Biostatistics courses. Genevieve has completed coursework in both statistical theory and applied biostatistics, including regression, ANOVA, generalized linear modeling, and methods in bioinformatics. During graduate school, she worked as a research assistant analyzing a large cohort dataset related to allergies and allergic diseases in childhood.

James Hardin:
Dr. Hardin, an associate professor in the Arnold School of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, is the division director of biostatistics at the University of South Carolina. His statistical methodological expertise includes longitudinal data analysis, mixed models, clinical trials, correlated data analysis, statistical computing, observational data analysis, and simulation studies. Dr. Hardin's application interests include analyses of data from behavioral studies, cancer trials, pharmaceutical studies, and statistical computing.

Robert Moran:
Dr. Moran is a clinical/instructional assistant professor of biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He is the director for the Nutrition Reading Center at the Center for Research in Nutrition and Health Disparities at USC’s Arnold School of Public Health and the director of data support services for the BCRC. Dr. Moran oversees all work pertaining to scanning, data processing, and quality control of data within the BCRC. His research interests include nutritional analyses, and he is the principal investigator for the Nutritional Reading Center for the Diabetes Prevention Program – Outcome Study.
