The Black Faculty and Staff Association serves as a resource for African American faculty and staff at the University of South Carolina – Columbia.  Members of BFSA are provided opportunities for personal and professional development, for networking, and for involvement in concerns that affect African-Americans on the USC campus.

Message from BFSA President

First I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your past and present support of BFSA.  I am truly humbled by this appointment and excited to make continued contributions to the growth of the association.

As we embark upon the next two years of service, we will continue the success of BFSA as an organization looked upon and viewed with great respect here at the University.  It is my desire and sincere intentions to help promote greater networking between faculty, staff, students, and University Community.  We welcome new ideas, projects, and promotions of our organization.  Please feel free to contact me or any of the Executive Board Members. 

As I look forward to working with our Executive Board, University Officials, present and new members I anticipate great things for the future.  Remember “forward together” means all of us united as one corporate body.
