he Academic Events Committee, with a wonderful roster of members drawn from many sectors of the University, will play a pivotal role in celebrating the life and contributions of the University of South Carolina. This committee focuses on the educational and intellectual leadership provided by the University for the last two hundred years and into the future. We are responsible for planning and approving events related to the heart of the University—academics. Our committee looks forward to celebrating past, present and future academic achievements with citizens throughout the state.
