he Alumni Events Committee has defined its charge as follows: to make sure that all alumni have the opportunity to participate in the celebration of the University's Bicentennial. This means that we'll be defining not only real, time-and location-specific events, but also "virtual" events. For alumni, the defining event of 2001 will be homecoming, so the committee intends to make it the best homecoming ever. From the parade, through a series of gala dinners, reunions and the Tea Dance, right up to the final second of the football game, we'll be creating events imbued with Carolina spirit and tradition.
