O.gifur committee knows that USC athletics has a strong tradition of bringing together generations of South Carolinians. We are working with the Athletics Department and all USC campuses to coordinate events that celebrate this tradition. Our celebration of athletics will include recognizing USC athletes of the past and present andbicentennial athletics survey looking ahead to the athletes of the future. We will also pay special tribute to all of our dedicated fans of the many teams that compose USC athletics. The Athletic Events Committee looks forward to an exciting year of athletic events in 2001.
