Committee Chair Mark W. Buyck, Jr.

T.gifhe Public Events Committee is a broad-based committee focused on the development and implementation of appropriate public events all over South Carolina for USC’s Bicentennial. Our committee members share great enthusiasm and have been meeting to formulate ideas and begin planning such large-scale events as the Bicentennial Kickoff Ceremony on January 10, 2001. The Public Events Committee is committed to creating events that highlight our University’s illustrious history and our exciting future. We look forward to involving as many people as possible in our Bicentennial events.
