The Institute for Partnerships to Eliminate Health Disparities, directed by Dr. Saundra Glover, Arnold School of Public Health, enhances and facilitates public and private partnerships addressing a variety of chronic diseases that threaten communities statewide and worldwide. These partnerships provide the opportunity for the pursuit of inter-institutional, multi-disciplinary research, education, and training to address issues related to cancer as well as other community health problems. Research supported by an EXPORT grant from the NIH, led by Dr. Kim Creek, School of Medicine, is aimed at eliminating cervical cancer disparities in South Carolina.
