Shuttle runs
11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

S.E.T. Fair
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

* Be sure to bring your Carolina Card or know your VIP ID in order to enter the job fair.

Complimentary shuttle:  Shuttle service will be provided with stops at Capstone, Thomas Cooper Library (Sumter Street stop), Swearingen (north of building on Main Street), and the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (corner of Lincoln/Senate.) The shuttle will take students to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and return them to campus.  Look for "Job Fair Shuttle" signs. The shuttle will run continuously from 11:30am until 5:00pm.

Job Fair Tips

To maximize your results at the job fair, you should:

  • Visit the Career Center for a resume critique and advice on job search and interviewing skills; drop-in hours are Monday - Friday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in one of our two locations - Thomas Cooper Library Level 5 or College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) Career Center (satellite office.)
  • Create your account on Handshake before the fair.
  • Participate in "Job Fair Prep Week" opportunities the week before the job fair.
  • Research the list employers attending and the full-time and internship positions available on Handshake before the fair.
  • Develop your strategy and target organizations of interest.
  • Download Resume Writing Tips and Job Fair Tips with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Wear business attire (no jeans, flip flops, caps, etc.)
  • There will be a bag check at registration for your convenience.
  • Career Center staff in garnet shirts will be available to respond to any questions you may have on the day of the event.
  • Visit the complimentary LinkedIn photo booth in the main lobby area!
