Hispanic Connections, Inc. is a professional organization dedicated to connecting businesses and organizations with the Hispanic community in South Carolina. Our mission is to help promote a healthy business environment in South Carolina by creating opportunities for growth and expansion and by bridging the cultural and language gap between Hispanics and non-Hispanics.  We publish the South Carolina Hispanic Business Directory and offer translation services, creative marketing advice, and Spanish courses for local enterprises.  Every year, we organize various business seminars and social events, in addition to the annual Cinco de Mayo Festival in Columbia.

The Hispanic-American Women’s Association, also known as AHAM, was established as a non-profit organization in 1998.  Since then it has been dedicated to promoting the Hispanic folklore, culture, and traditions, while working to provide scholarship awards for high school graduates of Hispanic descent, enabling them to continue their higher education, at the university, technical college or vocational school of their choice.

        Catholic Charities of the Midlands works directly and in collaboration with parish communities and other social organizations to serve individuals and families in the midlands area of South Carolina who are in crisis situations.  We provide clothing, toiletries, financial assistance and case management to those in need.  Typically assistance is provided to those referred from another social agency, healthcare provider, or church.
