Class/Group Presentations

Career Center staff are happy to conduct presentations for your classes. We can take 10 minutes to provide an overview of Career Center services or can take a full class and present on a topic of your choice. With advanced notice, you can bring your students to the Career Center for this presentation, including a tour of our Career Library and time for conducting career research. Sample topics include, but are not limited to:

How to Choose a Major Resume/Letter Writing
How to Find a Summer Job or Internship Interviewing Skills
How to Make the Most of a Career Fair Dress for Success
What Employers are Really Looking For Networking
Work Values Job Search Strategies (Internet included)
Market Trends/Job Outlook Employer Research

We can also administer assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). Or, if you have a particular topic in mind that is not listed above, we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.

You may request a presentation online or by calling 803-777-7280.  PLEASE NOTE: Advanced notice is appreciated. Last minute requests will be granted based on staff availability.
