- Oktoberbest is co-sponsored by the Office of Information Technology, University Libraries and the Center for Teaching Excellence.
- Presenter Instructions
All who teach at USC are invited to submit abstracts for presentations that demonstrate or describe best pedagogical practices at Oktoberbest: A Symposium on Teaching. Oktoberbest is an opportunity to exchange best teaching strategies within the USC community. Have you found best ways to present information to students? Best ways to get them to engage or interact with each other, with the course content or in activities beyond the classroom? Best ways to use technology to enhance your course? Think about all the strategies you use in your teaching. Pick your most effective or innovative ones and share them with others!
Each participant can submit only one proposal for presentation. A proposal consists of a title, an abstract, and a requested time frame. Each abstract should identify the strategy you use to enhance teaching, how it works, and why it is significant. Proposal will be reviewed and presenters notified according to the schedule on the conference main page.
