Description

Faculty who teach distributed learning (online or hybrid courses) are invited to join us for this informal and informative conversation moderated by office of Student Engagement. In this workshop, small groups of undergraduate students and faculty will discuss common expectations of and perception of distributed learning. Hear first-hand from students about their experiences in this courses, and share your own perspective. You'll also get a free lunch.

About the Facilitators

Jimmy Gahagan, currently serves as Director of Student Engagement at USC, where he also teaches a University 101 class for first-year student success. He has presented and published widely on such topics as the Sophomore-Year Experience, Creating Learning Outcomes, Residential Learning Initiatives, Peer Leadership, the First-Year Experience, and Student Retention.
