Graduate Bulletin Course Description: A survey, from ancient times to the present, of the evolution and social role of information organizations (libraries, archives, information centers, etc.) and technologies (books, journals, computers, etc.). Emphasis on the U.S. in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Prerequisites: SLIS 701
