CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, January 14, 2013
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
Students will be required to attend two exam sessions at USC Columbia on Wednesdays: March 6, 2 - 5 p.m. (midterm) in the Swearingen Engineering Center, Room 2A19; and May 1, 2 - 4:30 p.m. (final) in the Health Sciences, Room 104. Students at a distance can arrange to take the exams at an approved testing site.
Online Session Information:
The instructor will utilize Adobe Connect to offer 10 live, online chat sessions throughout the semester. Students may participate in one optional orientation session on Monday, Jan. 14, 4 - 5:15 p.m. Students may participate in nine optional Q&A sessions, 4 - 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22; and Mondays: Jan. 28; Feb. 11 and 25; March 4 and 25; and April 8, 22, and 29. Students may be present, either in person or online, for the orientation and Q&A sessions, or may view the sessions at a later time. USC Columbia students may attend sessions in the Close-Hipp Building (School of Business), Room 203; all other students will view classes via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. For students viewing the sessions live online, the Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. Students viewing at a later time may visit the Web site at http://video.sc.edu; click on the appropriate college/school and then your class link to view sessions. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
