Effective Data Management for Public Health
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, July 08, 2013
General Information: This is a videostreaming course utilizing Adobe Connect, but students will attend an orientation session via live chat on Adobe Connect on Monday, July 8, 10 - 11 a.m. USC Columbia students will attend the orientation in Wardlaw College, Room 116; all other students will view orientation via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the date of orientation. Students viewing the orientation at a later date and for the video streaming site, visit the Web site at http://video.sc.edu; click on the appropriate college/school and then your orientation or class link.
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
In addition to the orientation (see General Info above), students will be required to attend sessions at USC Columbia for lab sessions and exams. All lab and exam sessions will be scheduled in the Health Sciences Building, Room 204. There will be nine lab sessions: Monday, July 8, 10 - 11 a.m. (immediately following orientation); July 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31, and Aug. 5, 9 - 11 a.m; and the final exam: Wednesday, Aug. 7, 9 - 11:30 a.m.
