Introduction to Educational Administration

CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Thursday, August 22, 2013

On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information: Students will be required to attend one orientation session at USC Columbia on Saturday, Aug. 17, 10:30 a.m. - noon, in Wardlaw College, Room 126.

Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

(One or more synchronous components will REQUIRE meeting face-to-face or Online).

Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: A survey of basic principles of school administration, the conceptual and structural organization of public education, and the educational governance at the federal, state, and local levels.
