Approaches and Concepts for Health Administration
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Thursday, August 22, 2013
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. All students must be present, either in person or online, for the class sessions on Mondays, 1 - 3:45 p.m. USC Columbia students will be required to attend classes in the Williams-Brice Building (College of Nursing), Room 409; all other students will view classes via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
NOTE:
USC Columbia students will meet in the Williams-Brice Building (College of Nursing), Room 409, on Aug. 26, Sept. 23, Oct. 28, and Nov. 25.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: An interdisciplinary perspective on the field of health administration. Philosophy concepts, and skills of implementation, management, and evaluation are presented and discussed. Principles in the practice of health administration are applied to identified problems and situations.
