Applied Public Health Law for Administrators
CLASS SESSION: Thursday, August 22, 2013-Friday, December 06, 2013
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. All students must be present, either in person or online, for the class sessions on Tuesdays, 6 - 8:45 p.m. USC Columbia students will be required to attend classes in the Swearingen Engineering Center, Room 2A05; all other students will view classes via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Course addresses the significant legal and ethical issues in Public Health practice; basis for Public Health actions, authorities and limitations; role of the three branches of government in Public Health protection.
