Introduction to Statistical Reasoning
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, May 13, 2013
General Information: All students will view the class lectures via the Internet using an Adobe Connect URL that will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect. This is not a self-paced course. Dates for semester exams (three during semester exams) will be posted on syllabus by the first day of class and homework due dates (generally one a week) will be announced at least a week in advance. Exams cost $17.50 each for online proctoring any time, day or night, or free if taken at an Approved Testing Site during business hours.

Undergraduate Bulletin Course Description: A course in statistical literacy. Topics include data sources and sampling, concepts of experimental design, graphical and numerical data description, measuring association for continuous and categorical variables, introduction to probability and statistical inference, and use of appropriate software.
