Introduction to Engineering Design for Teachers
CLASS SESSION: Thursday, August 21, 2014-Friday, December 05, 2014
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
Students will be required to attend on-campus meetings on Thursday, August 21, and on Tuesdays; Sept 16, Sept 30, Oct 21, Nov 11 and Dec 2 from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm in Swearingen Engineering Center, Room 1A03.
Online Session Information:
Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.

Bulletin Course Description: An introduction to computer-aided design with solid modeling for pre-service and in-service teachers. Design process, professional communication and collaboration methods, design ethics, and technical documentation.
Prerequisites: College algebra with trigonometry
