Proposed Faculty Manual Changes - Spring 2012

The Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) is in the process of reviewing the Columbia Campus Faculty Manual. The Faculty Manual embodies the essential elements of the employment contract between the faculty and the university, and it is vital therefore that it stay current and accurate. Revisions to the FM should be faculty-led and should be made deliberately and openly.

All Faculty Senators and general faculty members are encouraged to participate in the review process. Any comments or suggestions regarding the proposed changes or the Faculty Manual more generally should be directed to Dr. James Knapp, Chair of the Faculty Advisory Committee at knapp@geol.sc.edu or via the Faculty Manual Comment Submission page.
