Faculty Summit on Intercollegiate Athletics meeting October 15, 2007 in Washington, DC
The Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the agenda for
the Faculty Summit on Intercollegiate Athletics on October 15, 2007 at the National
Press Club in Washington DC. The purpose of the summit is to discuss what college
faculty members really think about college sports, issues affecting academics and
athletics, and what can be done to spur more faculty engagement and oversight of
athletics departments. The agenda includes the release and discussion of a national
study of faculty attitudes about college sports.
