The number of confirmed cases of H1N1 flu on the University of South Carolina campus is low. All cases have been mild, and business and classes are being conducted as usual. University officials continue to work closely with local, state and federal public health officials in preparing our campus and are prepared to handle situations that may arise. Students are being cared for at the Thomson Student Health Center.

The University is receiving limited supplies of H1N1 vaccine, and health officials are following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for administering it at clinics across campus. Details on those clinics as well as information about the H1N1 vaccine can be found here.

The Thomson Student Health Center is currently out of the seasonal flu vaccine. While no date has been determined for delivery of additional flu vaccines, as soon as that information becomes available, it will be posted on the Student Health Services Seasonal Flu page.
