- The memorial on Greene Street will move off the street but remain in front of Russell House University Union starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. The street will then re-open for traffic.

- The Ocean Isle Chapel, a non-denominational church in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., will devote part of its Sunday, Nov. 4, service to remembering the victims. The service begins at 9:30 a.m.
The chapel is located on 4 West Third Street in Ocean Isle Beach. More information: 910-579-6222.
- The Moore School of Business will honor four of its students who died with a
banner and group procession to the memorial on Greene Street at Russell House University
Union. Gather at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, in front of the school.

- Rutledge Chapel on the Horseshoe will be open for reflection and meditation
from 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

- No public events are planned for Tuesday, Oct. 30.
- Greene Street will be closed to traffic through Friday. Students, faculty, and
staff, and universityalumni and friends can leave flowers and cards at the memorial
site.
- Plans for a non-denominational university memorial service for the students will
be announced later.
Football
coach Steve Spurrier announced that the Gamecocks will wear stickers on the back
of their helmets with the words "Forever to Thee," the closing lines of
the alma mater. Carolina plays at Arkansas at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
"It's a terrible tragedy any time a family has to bury one of their children," Spurrier
said. "We'll remember these students and hopefully we can recover. ..."
