Friends from the University of South Carolina remember the victims of the fire.
William Rhea was born on Sept. 28, 1989, in Florence, S.C. He was son to Dr. Andy and Margaret Lee Rhea and brother to Anna Lee and Andrew Rhea, with whom he had a closer relationship than most siblings will ever have.
He graduated from Trinity Collegiate High School in the spring of 2007, after which he enrolled as a freshman at the University of South Carolina. In his short life Will was faced with adversity, and through his strength and courage he was able to overcome many obstacles.
Those that knew him say that having Will in their life was a true blessing. He had a way of touching hearts and bringing people together in any circumstance. With Will you were guaranteed a good time and never a dull moment.
Will will always be remembered for his ability to cheer people up. He was also known for his Lil' Wayne raps, his willingness to help others in need, and his genuine smile. Will's spirit lives on in all those whose lives he touched.
He will be sorely missed and will never be forgotten.
