We invite you to be a part of productive collaborations, conversations, and relationships as we gather in Atlanta this year.
The Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience is pleased to offer discounted registration fees to the following participants:
The Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience is designed to provide educators from every segment of higher education a comfortable, welcoming environment to share innovative ideas, programs, tools, and research critical to the learning, development, and success of first-year college students. The conference aims to promote a comprehensive and engaging community open to a diversity of ideas, in which all delegates are given the opportunity and resources to grow personally and professionally. The conference welcomes graduate and undergraduate students, encouraging them to deepen their knowledge of the academic communities of which they are a part.

Conference Mentoring ProgramLimited to 25 mentors and mentees each
Now in its seventh year, the Mentoring Program connects conference attendees new to FYE work with more seasoned and experienced educators with a goal of enhancing the conference experience and providing additional mentoring opportunities within the Center’s international network. Mentors and mentees are matched based on professional experiences and interests and gather at an exclusive meet and greet event that occurs just prior to the Opening Session on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm. Past participants, both the mentors and the mentees, have found the Mentoring Program to be an enjoyable and meaningful addition to the conference experience.
