2008-09 Paul P. Fidler Research Grant
Call for Proposals

The National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition invites applications for 2008-09 Paul P. Fidler Research Grant. A comprehensive award package includes a $5,000 stipend, travel to two national conferences, and a potential publication.

The Center invites applicants to submit proposals addressing students of color, community colleges, advising, transfer and articulation, administrative policies, and other issues related to college student transitions. 21st International Conference on The First-Year Experience

The purpose of the 21st International Conference on The First-Year Experience is to share innovative programs, research results, instructional designs, and new academic concepts that help an increasingly diverse body of students become more successful learners and experience smooth transitions into and through higher education.

Summer Institute for Academic Deans Department Chairs

The Institute is designed to promote discussion of current challenges and provide successful strategies in the curriculum and co-curriculum. The National Conference on First-Year Assessment

The National Conference on First-Year Assessment, formerly the Summer Institute on First-Year Assessment, is designed to maximize opportunities for participant learning and networking and structured to create a cumulative learning experience. 15th National Conference on Students in Transition
November 8-10, 2008 <> Columbia, South Carolina
