It does not represent any single department or initiative, yet is the cumulative efforts of all the students, staff, faculty, and community members of Carolina.

Sustainability Showcase: Research & Practice - September 23rd
Ready to show off? Sustainable Carolina wants to help showcase your success in sustainability at our Sustainability Showcase: Research & Practice event! The Showcase will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd from 6:00 pm to 8:30 p.m. in the Honors Residence Hall Learning Center Classrooms. This event, hosted by Sustainable Carolina in conjunction with Dr. Andrew Greytak of the Chemistry and Biochemistry department, will serve as a venue for both students and faculty to present their interdisciplinary research and work related to sustainability.
In addition to intriguing research presentations, the Sustainability Showcase also offers the opportunity for faculty and students to network based on their research interests and collaborate on current and future research projects.
The Office of Undergraduate Research will also be in attendance to help students understand the nuts and bolts of the research process including how to apply for funding for their proposals.
Carolina Community Farm & Garden harvests sustainability, fellowship and fresh produce
When you venture over to the Green Quad, you’ll find more than just a residence hall. The Carolina Community Farm and Garden, located behind the living community, is also home to hundreds of plants, including fresh fruits and vegetables like kale and peaches.
