As a student, you will need to know and understand how Blackboard, VIP and email work with your academic classes and social atmosphere. Below are some of the most useful resources @ USC!
Get Connected:
Make this site a one-stop-shop in finding out how to get connected to the USC network, both wired and wireless. This site is a comprehensive guide to computer security and network systems on campus.
iCARE Center
You CARE about your computer ... So does University Technology Services! If you have a problem with your computer, sign up for a session in our iCARE Center and work with a technician to fix your problems and configure your computer the way you want it! Make an appointment at http://helpdesk.uts.sc.edu/icare or call 777-1800.
UTS Help Desk
Need computer help? Call us at 777-1800 or create a ticket online with the University Technology Services Help Desk. You can also find helpful websites that may answer your question before you call!
VIP (Visual Information Processing):
Do you need to find out what your network username is, or how much financial aid you received, or you class schedule? VIP is one of the most used resources on campus and handles most of your student information.
Student Email
Beginning January 5, 2010, all students will start using the University’s new student email service, Outlook Live@edu. Student email addresses will be USERNAME@email.sc.edu. All students are given student email accounts. All official University correspondence is sent to this email address. Old email addresses (@mailbox.sc.edu) will be forwarded to the new email account.
