University Technology Services is happy to help University faculty and staff prepare for their switch to Microsoft Exchange. Hands-on training, Town Hall sessions and online training are available to all faculty and staff. For more information about training, please contact the UTS Help Desk at 803-777-1800.


General Overview Sessions

  • These sessions provide an overview of the migration process, Outlook e-mail client,  and the SonicWall spam management filter and to serve as a Q&A forum.
  • These are designed to provide faculty and staff the information they need prior to migration so that the transition can be as smooth as possible.
  • Sessions are held on Wednesday’s in UTS 320. Please check in at the front lobby when you arrive to 1244 Blossom Street. Metered parking is available first-come, first-available.

Hands-On Training: (Sponsored by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering)

  • This hands-on training is designed to introduce the Microsoft Exchange system. It is recommended for faculty and staff who are using or will be using the new University E-mail system and want a hands-on learning experience. Each class session is scheduled for two hours, allowing 90 minutes for instruction and 30 minutes for setup and questions and answers. Each session can accommodate only 24 attendees and registration is strongly recommended.
