USC Connect is a long term initiative at USC Columbia and the Regional Campuses (Lancaster, Salkehatchie, Sumter, Union) to support all students in making the most of their education by integrating course work with first-hand learning experiences outside of class.

Step 1: Participate

Fully participate in experiences within and beyond the classroom. USC has a wealth of opportunities — find what is right for you! Get involved in one or more areas: Community Engagement, Internships, Research, Study Abroad, Student Organizations, Peer Leadership, Residential Living.

Step 2: Create

Move beyond having experiences to learning from experiences. Reflect on your experiences and communicate the “big ideas” through technology, art, music, writing, or presentations. Transform what you know and your possibilities for the future.

Step 3: Lead

You can lead in any area! Learn more about how you can apply what you have learned to making a difference in the world and leading positive change.
