I found out about SCANA Corporation by receiving an email saying they were accepting applications for intern positions in business, engineering and computer science. As a sophomore business major, I immediately jumped on this.
I worked as a Jr. Analyst and learned a wide variety of skills that employees of any service industry would need. Aside from meeting great people and developing relationships that I believe will last a lifetime, I learned so much about the corporate world. Working that "corporate schedule" of 8am - 5pm everyday was very maturing. I also learned many technical skills and improved my presentation and communication skills.
Something that I am particularly proud of: my improvement in project planning! All of this is thanks to great guidance from my fantastic manager.
