Tool-Tip Bar
The Tool-Tip Bar and text are built into the portal template. The black bar provides a place for corresponding white text to appear on roll-over of linked photos or menu items. The philosophy behind the tool-tip is to provide readers with a brief explanation of, or additional information about, the selected menu item to help them decide if that is where they want to go. Care should be taken when writing these tool-tips to ensure that they give good additional information. If tool-tips are just a repetition of the menu item, they are not necessary and should not be used.
The height of the Tool-Tip Bar in the template is 15 pixels to accommodate 10 point Arial Bold text set flush right. This height should not be modified.
