Students to begin registering for fall classes using Self Service Carolina
Campuses across the University of South Carolina system are preparing to register students using Self Service Carolina (SSC) for the first time over the next several weeks.
By April 12, all of the system’s eight campuses will have begun registering students for fall classes using the new system instead of VIP.
It marks another milestone for OneCarolina, the multi-year initiative aimed at overhauling the way students, faculty, and staff connect with the University.
The University has been busy communicating with students and advisors about the upcoming changes to the registration process. Students are being educated on how to visit my.sc.edu and sign in to SSC using their VIP ID and password.
Most notably, student time tickets (registration appointment times) are now available in SSC. Students are being encouraged to sign in prior to registration so they can get a feel for the new system.
