Jim joins the University of South Carolina from UNC Charlotte where he has served as Director of University Recreation since 2013. He is a seasoned recreation professional, bringing 30+ years of experience to the division with a focus on special projects, facility improvements and operations, programming as well as a passion for working with students to enhance their overall experience.

Jim is an animal lover and enjoys antiquing with his wife of 20+ years, Michele. He enjoys watching college sports and cheering on his favorite teams, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres’. He also enjoys being outdoors regularly and loves to work on DIY home projects, one of five siblings, a foodie and enjoys meeting new people.
