Our beloved hues of garnet and black are among the most recognizable of the Carolina design elements. 

Primary Colors

Garnet and black are the official colors of the University of South Carolina. The colors in the secondary color palette are not to be used as primary colors. They may be used secondarily as accents.

Do not use a secondary color in place of garnet.

 

Secondary Colors

Limit the number of secondary colors used in a single piece, so they do not overpower any use of garnet and black. Avoid color combinations that could be associated with other colleges and universities.
