My Tutoring
Although there is not one central location for tutoring at the University of South Carolina, many departments offer various types of support to help you succeed academically. Subject tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, a Writing Center, and the Academic Centers for Excellence (ACE) help form this network.
Remember, get the assistance you need before you find yourself in a hole academically and your GPA slumps.

Supplemental Instruction is a learning enhancement program that consists of a series of weekly review sessions for students enrolled in historically difficult courses (for example: Biology 101, Chemistry 111, History 111, Math 141). Sessions are open to all students who want to improve their understanding of the course material, as well as their grades. Attendance is voluntary. Visit the SI web site to find out what courses offer supplemental instruction and locations/times of sessions.
