International Application Deadlines

We recommend that international students apply to the University at least nine months before the semester in which you plan to begin your studies.

If you are applying as an international freshman student, you will need to meet the following application deadlines:

• Spring 2013 (classes begin January 14): applications and credentials must be received by November 1, 2012.
• Summer I 2013 (June) semester: applications must be submitted by December 1, 2012. All credentials are due by February 1, 2013.
• Summer II 2013 (July) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by December 1, 2012. All credentials are due by February 1, 2013.
• Fall 2013 (August) semester: applications must be submitted by December 1, 2012. All credentials are due by February 1, 2013. If you are applying for the South Carolina Honors College, you must submit your application by November 15, 2012. All credentials must be received by November 15 as well.

If you are applying as an international transfer student, you will need to meet the following deadlines:

• Spring 2013 (classes begin January 14): applications and credentials must be submitted by November 1, 2012.
• May Session 2013: applications and credentials must be submitted by April 1, 2013.
• Summer I 2013 (June) semester: applications and credentials must be submitted by April 1, 2013.
• Summer II 2013 (July) semester: applications and credentials must be submitted by May 1, 2013.
• Fall 2013 (August) semester: applications and credentials must be submitted by June 1, 2013.
