the University of South Carolina

The Office of the Bursar provides financial services support to students, parents, faculty, staff, deans, department heads and the administration. The office functions primarily as the official depository of all university funds and is responsible for receipting and disbursing all funds, which includes the assessment and collection of tuition and fees.

Our goal is to make paying for your education as simple as possible. This web site provides important information that will help you through this step.

Please note: The Office of the Bursar is in the process of changing the way it does business. For Fall 2013, students and parents will visit my.sc.edu and sign in to Self Service Carolina to view account information and pay their bill. For Summer I and Summer II, they will continue to use VIP. Please come back regularly, as we will be posting updates throughout the summer as part of an effort to make this transition as easy as possible.
