(Note: If you are not working full-time, you may be eligible for Free Tuition)?
If you are a Senior Citizen (60 years old or older) and you claim South Carolina as your state of legal residence, you must complete the South Carolina Residency Certification Form.
If you qualify to claim South Carolina as your state of legal residence, as a senior citizen, you may also qualify for Free Tuition as long as you are not employed full-time. In order to determine your eligibility for the free tuition benefit, please attach documentation that verifies your date of birth and submit it with the South Carolina Residency Certification Form.
The certification form is designed so that you can enter your personal information electronically, but it must be printed, signed, and mailed (or faxed) to our office for an eligibility review.
