
Are you a Senior Citizen
(Note: If you are not working full-time, you may be eligible for Free Tuition)?
If you are a Senior Citizen (60 years old or older) and you claim South Carolina as your state of residence, you may be eligible for free tuition at the University of South Caroli-na. In order to participate a person must meet the following criteria:
- Admitted to the University of South Carolina
- Not employed full-time
- SC Resident for at least 12 months
A senior citizen should complete the SC Residency Certification Form online at my.sc.edu after admission to the University.
Senior Citizens may enroll in classes where space is available starting the first day of class for the semester.
Please note that Senior Citizens are responsible for all charges that are not tuition. This includes, but is not limited to, technology fees and lab fees.
