EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. The EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) provides a variety of resources to help you advance learning through IT innovation including white papers, technologies briefs, podcasts, and videos. Members of the University of South Carolina academic community can take advantage of our group subscription to EDUCAUSE services by creating a personal profile here.

CTE Newsletter

Volume 1, Issue 3 (March 24, 2008). The focus of this issue is our Teaching with Technology Initiative. This initiative provides a variety of opportunities for faculty to choose from to enable the wise use of instructional technology to enhance student learning. Volume 1, Issue 2 (December 6, 2007). The focus of this issue was our Early Career Teaching Initiative. This initiative provides a variety of opportunities for faculty to choose from to help establish a foundation for a lifetime of efficient and effective teaching.

Listserv

The staff at the Center for Teaching Excellence maintain a mailing list for communicating information about our teaching colloquiums and seminars directly to interested faculty. To join this listserv and start receiving notification of upcoming events, please send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.sc.edu with the words "SUBSCRIBE TEACHING firstname lastname" as the body of the message. To leave the list, the body of the message should say "SIGNOFF TEACHING".
