Grocery Store Tour
7:00pm
Ever wonder how to navigate a grocery store to find the healthiest
items? Want to know how to decipher nutrition labels? Are you
interested in knowing how ingredient lists give you important clues
about the health content of foods? Want to know the tricks that
manufacturers use to entice you to buy their products?
Then sign up for a FREE grocery store tour through Campus Wellness Promotion!

To register for the class, call 576-9393. Space is limited. All
tours are conducted at a local grocery store and are led by the Student
Health Services Registered Dietitian.

Sustainable Living Series
5:00pm -7:00pm
Solar Technology in Your Home
This workshop will focus on being an informed buyer of solar technology for your home. Discussions will include power terminology, site survey, systems configurations, and more.

The Learning Center is a one-story building in the middle of the Green Quad. The Quad is located south of Wheat St between Main and Sumter. There is a walkway through the middle of the Quad running between Main and Sumter, and the entrance to the Learning Center is off the walkway between four palmetto trees.

Parking is most easily available on the top level of the Sumter Street Parking Garage (as you drive down the hill on Sumter, from Blossom toward Wheat, take the first driveway on your right). Some parking is also available along Sumter & Main Streets. There are also two university parking lots nearby, one on Main Street between Blossom & Wheat and the other off Sumter Street, further down the hill (south) across the creek.

Sustainable Living Series

The last presentation will focus on building techniques, technologies and strategies. We will discuss topics such as advanced framing, building orientation, radiant floor heating, thermal mass in the home and more!
