| Healthy Carolina Task Force
Mission: To provide campus leadership in the study and promotion of Healthy Carolina 2010 goals and objectives at the University of South Carolina Columbia campus. The Healthy Carolina Task Force consists of faculty, staff & student representatives from across campus.
To meet this mission, the Healthy Carolina Task Force will:
- Study health-related data (NCHA and Faculty/Staff Assessment) of the Carolina community.
- Study the Healthy Campus 2010 document to identify 2-3 objectives (per subcommittee) for the Task Force to strive towards.
- Identify current health related programs occurring on campus.
- Identify best practices and outstanding programs at other institutions and consider their application potential at USC Columbia.
- Provide guidance for the Healthy Carolina social marketing campaign.
- Develop and implement programming initiatives that enhance student success at USC Columbia.
- Conduct research and assessment activities on implemented programmatic initiatives.
- Monitor the University’s health-related data and report on the status of accomplishing the designed Healthy Carolina 2010 objectives.
- Share information related to the above objectives with the Associate and Vice President of Student Affairs.
