Teaching Consultations

The doors of the Center for Teaching Excellence are open to anyone who wishes to discuss specific teaching concerns and effectiveness as they relate to a particular class. Our staff includes individuals with training in instructional methods and experience with consultation procedures. The consultants will focus on responding to instructor's teaching and learning concerns. They can, for example, assist instructors in planning a course or responding to student feedback. Instructional Technology Consultations

An Instructional Designer from Teaching and Technology Services works with all USC faculty to assist them with innovative and evolving instructional technology uses for their traditional courses as well as hybrid or distance education courses. This assistance includes determining an appropriate mix of technologies for course delivery to facilitate learning and consulting with faculty on developing high-quality courses based on best practices.
