Accessing the Libraries Electronic Resources Off Campus is so easy with EZproxy.

1. Choose an electronic resource (database, index or e-journal).





2. Click on the title.





3. Proceed through the Security Certificate screens by clicking either "Next" or "Yes."





4. Enter the last 4 numbers of your 9 digit USCID number and your last name in the text boxes.

    5.   Ready to begin? Click University Libraries main web page.

Having Connection Problems?

1. Authorized Users of the library databases are currently enrolled students, faculty and staff on the University of South Carolina Columbia campus. These users have access to almost all subscription electronic resources.





2. Please turn off any old proxy configuration that you may have setup in your browser previously.





3. Make sure your browser:

• Is set to accept cookies

• Has Java or Javascript enabled

4. Firewalls may restrict your access. Ask your Internet Service Provider if you are protected by a firewall.





5. Check the EZProxy FAQ page for possible resolutions to access problems.
