Please turn

browser
previously.
"Authorized
users” of the library databases are currently enrolled students, faculty and
staff on
the
University of South Carolina Columbia campus. Those authorized
users will have access to
almost
all subscription electronic resources –
including
databases and
e-journals – from any
computer,
connected
through any Internet Service Provider. All that is required is a USC
Network Username (Blackboard, GEM, Novell)
and a
Network Password.
·
If
you are working from a computer that is on the USC (Columbia) campus, or are
connected to the Internet via a USC account, you will be allowed access to
electronic
resources via IP recognition, i.e. no authentication is required.
·
If
you are connected to the Internet through an outside service provider (AOL,
Earthlink…),
you will be asked to authorize yourself with your Network Username
and
password.
Refer to the
proxy information page if you need to know
more about this. When you are
authorized as a currently enrolled student,
faculty or
staff of USC Columbia campus, you
will be passed through a software
package known
as EZProxy to the electronic resource,
and will have full access
to the subscription.
