Instructional services can reduce student's anxieties and increase their confidence by giving them the tools for effective research. By spending a small amount of time at the Business Library now you can save time later with individual student questions.
Schedule a library tour with the Business Library. Tours can be custom tailored to assignments and information needs of a class. Depending on the size of a class the tours may consist of the physical makeup of the library, print sources, and demonstrations of computer based resources. Handouts on the Library's resources can be distributed to students.
Arrange in-class visits with the Business Library. The Librarians will bring print resources to share with the class. If there is computer access in the classroom the Librarian will introduce the students to electronic resources. Handouts on the Library's resources can be distributed to students. In-class visits can be custom tailored to assignments and the information needs of a class.
The Librarians will come to your office and conduct instructional sessions.
These instructional sessions can include showing faculty how to access Proquest
and other electronic databases from their offices.
